To hire the live space / cinema
If you are looking to hire the live space or cinema at The ArtHouse for your production please carefully consider our artistic policy. The live space at the ArtHouse is also used as a cinema so we are looking for productions that have minimal sets that can be moved aside or backstage after each performance.
We understand this limits the type of productions that can be staged so please consider carefully before submitting. The max seating capacity is 85 seats.
You can hire the stage by the week, day or hourly. Please enquire for rates.
Please send a PDF version of the script as well as the following in your application:
- – A summary of the play or production and reasons why you want to stage it.
- – Company background.
- – Amount of performers and any cast/director attached.
- – The length of run.
- – Any specific technical or staging requirements.
- – Budget for the production.
- – Length of play/production.
The cinema can be hired for many types of events including film festivals, cast and crew screenings, filming location, award evenings ect. For more information and costs contact us.We will consider box office splits .
