HARINGEY STREAMED FILM, MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL

Celebrating the creativity, diversity and culture of Haringey.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

We are celebrating Haringey; its people, its diversity, it’s creativity and it’s potential!

Streaming online, we will have a variety of events spanning the arts – all with one focus… Haringey!

THE GOAL

To inspire and encourage development, interest and activity in Haringey. We’re a diverse bunch, filled with incredible stories, abilities and points of view. We want to be the platform that shows the world what Haringey has to offer! 

WHO CAN SUBMIT?

Anyone from Haringey, or who has a film relating to Haringey, or was involved with a film from/in/about Haringey

Submissions

Submissions for the 2020 festival are open and we are looking forward to receiving entries from film makers from all around Haringey. Those selected as finalists will be shown on our chosen streaming platform.

 

Deadline

No deadline at the moment, whilst we wait for submissions to come in the plan is to build up around these films. Once we have a suitable amount that is both of useable quality and quantity we can start to close the gates and narrow down our dates.

 

Genre

We will accept films in a variety of genres; documentary, animation, horror, comedy. No set film length at the moment. 

Format

Films can be sent to us via privately listing on Vimeo, YouTube, video website or WeTransfer. Bonus points if you already have your film as a DCP, that’ll be handy further down the line!

 

Press and Publicity

Should your film be accepted we will request digital images and other press/publicity materials you may have available at that time. You agree to provide these on request and in a timely manner. 

 

Eligibility

We’re pretty open on this years festival, we’d love to see a variety of films, the only specification we have is that the filmmaker/creator be based in Haringey currently. We want to celebrate Haringey’s talent!

All foreign language films must be subtitled in English either dubbed or with subtitles.

All rights, permissions and clearances must be obtained prior to submission and applicants must ensure that they have the right to submit the work with regard to third parties connected to the production of the film in question. By entering your work, you agree to this and the responsibilities involved. ArtHouse Crouch End End assumes and has no responsibility for violation of copyright law or breach of any law or regulation whatsoever.

Selection

Selection will be carried out by the ArtHouse Crouch End team. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection process and the decision of ArtHouse is final. Unfortunately, we will be unable to offer individual feedback or enter into any discussion about your work.

Successful submissions will be listed on our website and successful applicants will be notified by email. At this point we will also request you send us digital press kits and that you arrange film delivery during if it’s needed as ProRes etc.

Please note that only successful applicants will be notified personally.

 

Screenings and Scheduling

All screenings will take place at the discretion of ArtHouse Crouch End. We reserve the right to make changes to the advertised schedule at any time for any reason and will not accept liability for any costs incurred as a result of such changes.
